This weekend (starting Friday), a few dozen Amiga games were accidentally disabled. Fixing the mistake was not properly, and as a result, the games were effectively disabled until just now. Just refresh the game database in FS-UAE Launcher / OpenRetro Launcher and the games should appear fine again 🙂
The process mentioned in the previous post is now complete. This means that (most) games available as WHDLoad slaves, or in the GameBase Amiga disk set is recognized by the database. However, most of these new games are still not “published” (not visible in FS-UAE Launcher). I’ll come back with more information about how you can help 🙂
As you may or may not have noticed, a lot of new game entries have been added the last couple of weeks. This is because we’re now importing the remaining missing WHDLoad slaves and GameBase Amiga disk sets, and as a consequence, new game entries are added as needed.
The games (except variants added to “existing games”) do not automatically appear in FS-UAE Launcher. This is because we do not want to “spam” FS-UAE Launcher with literally thousands of new game entries without any quality control or screenshots (etc). These games are in an “unpublished” state for now, which means that they are only visible on the web interface. Exactly how this is going to be handled isn’t 100% determined, but one option is that users can active games themselves, one at a time, with the assumption that they will then try the game, report issues, if any, and possibly upload screenshots.
In any case, games A-M are now mostly done, N-Z to go 🙂 (Once all games are done, the first priority is to go through the wishlist and “publish” requested games).

It is now possible to use this URL to get a list of games missing at least one screenshot. More reports will follow later 🙂
