Super Troll Islands is a platformer developed by Millennium Interactive and published by American Softworks Corporation for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It features Troll dolls: wild-haired toys based on mischievous creatures of Danish/Scandinavian folklore that were invented in 1959 and became a recurring fad in the US and Europe in the following decades.

The game borrows a concept from City Connection or Q*Bert as its central gameplay mechanic: in order to complete each stage, the player has to "paint" the landscape by walking over it. Any non-painted area appears as monochrome, and background details get colored in along with the platforms directly in front of them. The player can pick up and throw objects they find to defeat enemies.
