MotoRace USA is a vertically-scrolling top-down motorcycle racing game that alternates to a behind-the-bike view for the latter half of each of its races. It was first released in the Arcades in Japan as Zippy Race. The game was ported to the Sega SG-1000, a predecessor of the Master System, and was also Irem's first game for the Nintendo Famicom - both of these ports are Japan-exclusive. It would also be included in the Irem Arcade Classics compilation for the Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation.

The goal of the game is to reach the end of each stage of the player character's coast-to-coast motorcycle race from LA to New York before their fuel supply runs out. Along the way, the racer has to avoid car traffic and take into account forks in the road, collecting extra fuel and score bonuses when they appear.
