Twin Eagle, or Twin Eagle: Revenge Joe's Brother, is a helicopter shoot 'em up. First released in Arcade in 1988, it was ported to the NES in 1989. Unusually for a Japanese-developed game, it was ported to the North American NES first and only saw a Famicom port a few years later.

The object is to shoot all enemies on screen while dodging their attacks. Power-ups are occasionally dropped by enemies and can increase the player's fire power or bullet spread, depending on the type. Rather than boss battles, the game has sequences where the protagonist vehicle starts moving very quickly to get to the next area, contending with a lot of fast-moving enemy jets.

The game is not to be confused with Double Strike, 1990 horizontal shoot 'em up known in some regions as Twin Eagle. The Arcade version of Twin Eagle saw an obscure sequel in 1994: Twin Eagle II.
