My Life My Love: Boku no Yume Watashi no Negai is a Miscellaneous game, developed by WinkySoft and published by Banpresto, which was released in Japan in 1991.

My Life My Love: Boku no Yume Watashi no Negai (or "My Life My Love: My Dreams My Desires") is an NES/Famicom game done in the style of a board game. It is a single player board game (there are no human or computer opponents).

You begin as an angel in heaven. Your number is randomly drawn, which means you are the next angel to be taken to Earth to become a human. You will begin as a child and go through an entire lifetime (dying at 100 years of age). Throughout the course of the game, you will do your best to improve your stats in six categories: knowledge, health, friendship, love, popularity, and wealth. You will be ranked against the population of Japan to see how well you are doing in the six categories. The population of Japan is 130 million people. So you will start ranked in #130,000,000th place, and try to work your way up to be #1.

A full playthrough of the game is very long. You can expect to play it on the order of 50 hours, and that is assuming you win on your first try. On your own, you certainly will not. Achieving a #1 ranking is not easy. But with the strategies presented in this guide, you will be able to achieve success.

The game was only released in Japanese, and it is rather text-heavy. You will probably need at least a little experience with Japanese to be comfortable making your way through the game, even with this guide.

One thing I couldn't figure out is how to have kids. I'm sure you must be able to, but perhaps it requires a random event to occur that I was never lucky enough to observe. If you have any kids in this game, please tell me how it happened, and send pictures so we can adore them. My email is lastbosskiller[at]gmail[dot]com.
