Now the scientist who put him together wants to take him apart again to find out what went wrong. The President of Nova Robotics wants to capture him before the weapons he is carrying kill millions of civillians - and the secuirty chief wants to blow him up so that he can get home in time for dinner. You are Number five....You are alive and you aim to stay that way! — Cassette Inlay

A Short Circuit video game based on the movie of the same name was developed by Ocean Software for ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64  and Amstrad CPC. It featured two parts, one arcade adventure where Johnny 5 had to escape from the lab, and one action part where Johnny 5 escapes across the countryside, avoiding soldiers, other robots, and animals.
