This is very dialogue heavy game and after each cutscene you are able to choose between the kids and few useful "weapons." Each character is slightly different, but all that matters that the kid with black hair and glasses is slowest one and the ghosts can catch up to you. I mostly used the lion character or some other faster one. Every level is a small puzzle which involves pushing barrels to certain spot to reveal hidden staircase or just finding treasure chest somewhere in the ship.

As you go through the levels you unlock different tools. First is boomerang which can freeze enemies for a few seconds and you can pass through them. Second one is laser which kills the enemy, but also turns it to physical object which can be used as a barrel. Third one is a grappling hook which can freeze enemies just like the boomerang and also you can move between these posts which are located usually in places you couldn't go without the hook.

Puzzles are overall pretty simple and you don't have to stay there thinking for hours how to complete one segment. Game was probably aimed at small children as most games were in NES era. Only problem I had was with the enemies which were annoying as the follow your each step and especially when you are forced to use the kid with the glasses, its horrible. Still I enjoyed the game very much.
