Gekitou Burning Pro Wrestling ("Fierce Fighting Burning Pro Wrestling") is a wrestling game for the Super Famicom that builds on the high level of customization (as well as fictional wrestlers based on real-life talent) of Human's Fire Pro Wrestling series.

The player is free to set-up matches of various types and venues, and create their own wrestlers with hundreds of moves at their disposal. The game features over 100 wrestlers of its own, each of whom is physically based on an actual wrestler but has a different name for the sake of legality.

The game offers different rulesets for the player to build matches around, based on puroresu (Japanese pro wrestling), American pro wrestling, lucha libre, pancrase, K-1, RINGS and others. Each has a different set of conditions and rules for the wrestlers to follow, and some allow for mixed martial arts techniques as well as standard wrestling slaps, throws and submission holds.
