Japan-exclusive futuristic racing video game released for the Super Famicom in 1994. Developed by KAZe and published by Meldac. An American version titled "Freeway Flyboys" was scheduled but was canceled.
Astro Go! Go! is an action-oriented racing game. The player has the choice between five vehicles which all have different abilities, e.g. maximum speed or manoeuvrability. The 15 courses feature various obstacles like bottomless pits (the vehicle always re-spawns if it is gone or stuck), acceleration fields or jumps. Unusually for a game of this genre, it is one-player only; the two playing modes being time trial or Grand Prix. The latter consists of 15 races, but the player needs to finish on the first, second or third place in order to reach the next.
