I Love Softball is a softball sim for the Nintendo Famicom and was released by Marionette and Coconuts Japan; a duo of companies better known for their many pachinko games featuring Pachio-kun, who cameos in this game. I Love Softball was exclusive to Japan.

As it follows the sport of softball rather than baseball, the latter of which saw a huge number of adaptations, there are a few differences. The major one is that all the players and teams are female. The player also pitches with underhand lobs, and can score a ball if they toss it too high over the plate for the batter to reach. Players can either take on a pennant race type of single-player mode, or they can compete with a second player in any of the versus modes.
