@TCD It may not need to be part of file_list (and it may be an advantage to leave it out of it). I will consider if it makes more sense to have a "savedisk_sha1" key (for games which needs a "non-standard blank save disk"), and have the launcher download it from oagd.net. @thevoice Of course, similar measures should be done for all games with similar requirements...
The disk has to be named POOLSAVE in order to be accepted by the game. A blank DOS disk does not work. I'd suggest to include "Pool of Radiance v1.0 (1990)(U.S. Gold)[save disk, Gamebase]" (7d466602984eb6e79e060a8ea7701060376f092e) for all disk variants.

this is required for any ssi roleplaying game from the ad&d series. so why not "fixing" them all at once ?

TODO: Check if the game requires a save disk labelled "POOLSAVE" and if it cannot be formatted from within the game. See this comment on FS-UAE.net.
