Same thoughts here. The game isn't in German. One screen hardly varants that language 'mark'. nexusle did a good investigation here and proved both HOL and TOSEC wrong
i changed the languages because i saw the copy protection message was shown in 4 languages. so 4 languages text is shown on the screen. for me this is enough to show the languages even when the game itself isnt translated.
The menu is only for the manual protection. Both TOSEC and HOL are indeed misleading and the messages ingame are English only. I stand corrected since I thought you were only talking about the manual and thevoice changed it to 'en, de, fr, it' for the variants. I only had a look until the start of the game and didn't check the actual ingame messages. Sorry about that nexusle

But language in the database is only for the game language. Manual protections in different languages doesn't count imo.

defjam crack requires a500 model otherwise the game hang after the cracktro
Language info on HOL is related to the manual, not the game itself.
