The Incredible Hulk is a 16-bit licensed action-brawler featuring the Hulk, of Marvel Comics fame. The game sees the Hulk search for his frequent enemy Leader, who has constructed an army of robotic "Humanoids" to wear down and defeat the Hulk.

In addition to some powerful melee moves and a few power-ups, the player can find and retain special "Tranquility Pills" and use them whenever they wish. These transform the Hulk back into the human Dr. Bruce Banner, who has a limited amount of combat ability but is small enough to fit into gaps that the Hulk cannot. Taking damage will revert Banner back into the Hulk.

The game is the second to feature the Hulk in a leading role: the first, Questprobe featuring The Hulk, is a text adventure game for 8-bit computers.
