Shanghai II: Dragon's Eye is the sequel to Shanghai: Dragon's Eye which is a Mahjong Solitaire game. It follows the usual rules of Shanghai/Mahjong Solitaire, presenting mahjong tiles in various configurations of the player's choosing. The player could also choose to change the traditional Chinese symbols/characters to alternative characters, such as playing cards.

Most versions of the game were simply known as Shanghai II. Shanghai II: Dragon's Eye is its SNES and North American Genesis name. For the Mega Drive, it was originally released as Dragon's Eye Plus: Shanghai 3 due to an earlier Shanghai II for a different Sega console. It was published by Activision in most territories. The Japanese Super Famicom name, Super Shanghai: Dragon's Eye, shares a name with an Arcade Mahjong Solitaire game for Arcades.
