A platformer starring characters from the Kamen Rider, Ultraman, Gundam, and Metal Heroes universes.
The SD Gashapon Warriors live peacefully in their home, SD Nation, until one day a mysterious UFO appeared in the sky and captured the SD Mother, and its engineer, Amy. The SD Warriors discover that they have been taken by an evil army called Dark Brain, bent on establishing their own evil SD empire. The SD Warriors must now set off together to rescue Amy and restore peace to their land!
SD Hero Sōkessen is a side-scrolling action platform game featuring miniaturized versions of famous Japanese television heroes from such series as Ultraman, Kamen Rider, SD Gundam, and Uchū Keiji. There are a total of twelve payable characters, three from each series, each with their own abilities. The only way to switch characters is by collecting power-ups dropped by enemies.
The player must make their way through a total of nine side-scrolling stages, each with a boss at the end, in order to rescue Amy. Along the way, a wide variety of enemies from each character's series will try their best to stop the heroes.
