description | A pinball game developed by Compile and published by Naxat for the Super Famicom in 1992. The game is the third entry in Compile's "Crush" series of highly acclaimed 16-bit pinball games, and is considerably more obscure than its predecessors due to being Japan-exclusive. |

__long_description | Naxat Super Pinball: Jaki Hakai, also known as Jaki Crush, is the third game in Compile's Crush series of pinball games after Alien Crush and Devil's Crush. Jaki Crush, named for the malevolent oni youkai that also gave Ninja Gaiden's final boss his name, has the same combination of classic pinball action with various interactive elements that could only be possible with a video game. If the player can shoot the pinball into the jaki's open mouth, they are whisked off to one of various bonus screens to earn extra points. Otherwise, the player can aim the pinball at various scoring zones on each table (there are three that are linked to each other vertically) and try to earn the highest score possible before losing all three balls.
Unlike Alien Crush and Devil's Crush, which both saw international releases on the NEC TurboGrafx-16 (Devil's Crush, as Dragon's Fury, was also available for the Sega Genesis), Jaki Crush was never released outside Japan and is considered the forgotten entry in the series. The decision to not localize the game was possibly due to the game's emphasis on creatures from Japanese folklore. |
