Big Nose the Caveman Nintendo

Big Nose the Caveman is a platformer developed for European computers and the Nintendo Entertainment System alike. In this prehistoric-themed platformer the player takes a role of a caveman. Equipped with just a club the caveman in question visits various parts of prehistoric Earth killing unusually aggressive animals and plants. The game features power-ups, like a stone-throwing club and other modifications which are mostly available at shops appearing every third level. These are bought by bones, collected by jumping, entering hidden passages or from killing enemies. The player visits desert, forest, jungle and snow themed levels and also a flying stage where Big Nose must attack birds with the same club that he spins above his head to keep him in the air. Every level features a boss.
