The famous interstellar biker and bounty hunter from DC Comics, Lobo, joins the fun in this one-on-one brawler featuring rendered graphics and button mashing by Ocean Software's American division. Intended for release in 1996 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Sega Mega Drive/Genesis but cancelled for both consoles in a last minute decision, now it's up to everyone to take part in this fighting frenzy set up in the Lobo universe with this virtually completed build of the Mega Drive/Genesis version, which is probably what would have made to stores, have the game been released. This game is very similar to RARE's Killer Instinct, not only in the graphical deparment, but also on the side of combat basis and rules. Players have three life bars to beat their opponents, instead of winning separated rounds. As a continuous bout, the match ends only when any of the characters deplete all the opponent's three life bars. Several characters and game modes are present. Lobo has an specific Solo venture in which he'll have to cross the universe looking for several convicts of the likes of Kringle, Loo, Nitro, Shada and Dox, which rate to different cash rewards. All these rival characters are also playable in the Versus, Tournament and Practice modes, along Lobo himself.
