Wile E. Coyote's Revenge is a sidescrolling platform game that was in development by Software Creations and planned to be released by Sunsoft for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
The game was a sequel to the 1992 SNES game Road Runner's Death Valley Rally. The player controls Wile E. Coyote. His goal is to catch the Road Runner. However, true to the cartoon, the Road Runner will speed away as soon as Wile E. gets remotely near him.
In 2007, the game's producer, Rene Boutin, gave Evan G. of SNES Central a basic overview of the game. According to him, Wile E. would have run around a level collecting parts for a contraption. In the next level, the coyote would have built the contraption and be able to use it. He described the overall concept as being "a kind of fervent fast racing type of gameplay with SOME elements of platformers."
