Shin Seikoku - La Wares Super Nintendo
Take control of Chiffon on his quest to save the Kitan Kingdom! In Shin Seikoku, battles take place on top of large robots in a pseudo-fantasy environment.
Shin Seikoku: La Wares ("New Sacred Era: La Wares") is a turn-based RPG for the Super Famicom and a video game adaptation of the Wares Blade Japanese pen and paper RPG. Wares Blade is set in a pseudo-medieval fantasy universe which features large mechs as remnants of an advanced ancient civilization that certain characters are able to pilot. Most of the game's combat and world map exploration involves these mechs, known as "Misao soldiers". Illustrator Kazuko Tadano was hired for some of the game's artwork.
The player alternates between two protagonists: Chiffon/Shi-Feng, a teenage boy belonging to a band of thieves and Michelle, a princess. In addition is Lushness/Lushunas, a vain prince that is betrothed to Michelle who briefly joins her adventure.
