Poker III (also called Poker 5-in-1) is a fun little cart from Sachen, a somewhat prominent game designer for the Famicom system back when it was really in it's golden age. Through the wonder of pirated carts that made their way to North America, I became exposed to this game, with it's multiple offerings of Poker. What does it offer exactly? Well, it has the following poker titles:

  • King Poker (a strip poker variant based on how many total winnings that are achieved)

  • Poker (First Card is covered, bets made on face up cards, played with full or partial deck settings)

  • Black Jack (the old game of 21, though it is not a Poker game)

  • The 13 Cards (Commonly referred to as Chinese Poker, build three hands and rake in the overall positive scores)

Although some of the variants involved may seem strange, they are actually quite fun to play, though King Poker is something designed more for the adult than the child! Good luck!
