Exed Exes is a standard vertically-scrolling shooter from Capcom. Similar to Namco's Galaga, it has a bee/insect motif with insect enemies and a hexagonal honeycomb stage layouts. It features power-ups, a rarity at the time it was developed, and was the second ever game to feature Capcom's recurring emblem/symbol, the Yashichi.

Exed Exes was first launched in the Arcade in 1984 and was ported to the Nintendo Famicom by Micronics and Tokuma Shoten the following year. The Arcade version was released in the US as Savage Bees, though future releases in the US switch between that name and the original.

The game was rereleased multiple times as one of Capcom's legacy titles. First as part of Capcom Generations Volume 3 for PlayStation and Saturn, then later in the PS2/XBox Capcom Classics Collection and the Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded for PSP. It was also released on the Wii's Virtual Console in Japan, the US and Europe. Finally, it was added to Capcom Arcade Cabinet for the XBLA and PSN, retaining its US title of Savage Bees.
