A Z-axis shoot 'em up that pits a soldier in a weaponized flight suit against alien invaders.

Cosmic Epsilon is a shoot 'em up for the Famicom that employs the Z-axis, with the protagonist flying towards the screen. It greatly resembles Sega's own Space Harrier, though certain elements are different. For one, the player character doesn't shoot directly but uses two flying satellites, which they can use to charge up a stronger shot by holding down the fire button for a few seconds.

The game utilizes a form of 3D that requires a special set of goggles, released in Japan as the Famicom 3D System, which can be activated in-game if the player happens to own the peripheral.
