A NES adventure game developed by Konami that is based on a Japanese slice-of-life manga. It was never released outside of Japan.
Jarinko Chie is a NES game based on the slice-of-life comic of the same name, usually translated as "Chie the Brat". It, like many western dailies like Dennis the Menace, details to the day-to-day life of a rambunctious troublemaker and her immediate family (who operate a restaurant) and neighbors, whom she often antagonizes. The game's subtitle is Bakudan Musume no Shiawase Sagashi.
Like many adventure games of the era, the game is controlled via a series of menus that provide basic directions for the protagonist to follow, such as "go to this location" and "talk to this person".
