Sesame Street 1 2 3 is the first of two NES games developed by Zippo Games (a contract developer often used by Rare) that teaches young children basic educational lessons via mini-games featuring Sesame Street characters.

In 1 2 3, the player can select between Ernie's Magic Shapes, which teaches them how to distinguish between colors and shapes, and Astro-Grover, which teaches them how to count and do elementary sums. The two games both have six modes apiece, with each mode being progressively tougher than the last.

Sesame Street 1 2 3 would eventually be released in a compilation pack with its sister product Sesame Street A B C.
