| __long_description | Soccer is a video game produced by Intelligent Systems and Nintendo. It is part of Nintendo's Sports Series for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Released in Japan in 1985, it was made available to the rest of the world in 1987. It was also made available for the Family Computer Disk System in Japan. In 2006, Soccer was made available on the Wii's Virtual Console, and could be bought from the Wii Shop Channel.
Soccer made use of a simplistic gameplay system, where pressing B passed the ball, while A shot at the opponent goal. The player has the ability to choose between 15, 30, and 45 minute halves. The game featured no club teams, but rather contained only 7 national teams: Brazil, England, France, Japan, Span, the United States, and West Germany. |
