Whichever year FS decides on is fine with me. I was merely pointing out my rationale for choosing 1987.

The earliest reviews for the Amiga version are from June 1988. The copyright information on the titlescreen is for the game, but doesn't mean the Amiga version was released in that year 1988 is the most likely year for the release of the Amiga version. Please also have a look at: HOL FAQ: Data Accuracy (and I know it's a bold statement to make when all other sites have the wrong year )
I noticed the discrepancy and went with 1987 as that was the date indicated in the Moby Games and Wikipedia entries. Also, the copyright indicates 1987 when you boot the actual game. I'm also pretty sure I bought Thexder at the World of Commodore 1987.

@g1k0 HOL and LemonAmiga differ on the year of the release. I assume HOL is more correct (and the year on the title screen is not always the Amiga release year anyway).
