Putty Squad is available for download now, for free, for the Amiga. The download license allows you to play and distribute Putty Squad, as long as it remains free and unaltered. — the official site

I agree with thundercato and TCD on this one, and when it comes down to it, it is just a matter of definition. I think the game has been officially published, free of charge. Now, we don't all have to agree on the definition of the word "Published", but on OpenRetro.org we'll use it in the loose sense (i.e. the game has been made officially available to the general public by the copyright holders), and not only in the sense that it has been available in stores in exchange for money
Putty Squad was released by System 3 in 2013. They are the copyright owners and they published it for free on their website. I think the published bit is verified here.

@thundercato The database is about commercially released games. That's why i set it back to "unreleased". Just like other unreleased games, e.g Liquid Kids, Son Shu-Shi which were released from the coders as full versions at some point.

To publish is to make content available to the general public. — Wikipedia
@Retro-Nerd I didn't want to just undo your edits, but as the game was released to the general public in 2013, even though not as a boxed Amiga game, System 3 still technically published it. Perhaps we could just add a note to the FAQ explaining this and change the 'year' and 'publisher' back?
Galahad/FLT posted some information about re-distributing the game - and also:
