Quality is important, the covers should be displayable in full-screen with decent quality (that's where the "1024x768 is an acceptable size" comes from). Bigger is better. A report which lists small covers is still useful (could also give a "negative quality score" for small cover) becauses sometimes a small cover may be the only one found - We do want to identify those game entries so we can replace them with better quality covers as soon as possible (perhaps someone has the box and can scan it).
Hi, I have a nice solution for this - I'll create a web report which lists games with too small covers! This way, small covers will not go unnoticed, and small covers can safely be used until a better one is found
The time that this discussion took could have been used to take the last 4 screenshots Now that's something to think about for sure I'll provide the images I think are suiting and if you can provide better ones I'm very gladful about it. That was already more time than I wanted to spend on the topic :p
That's right, but want you change all small images if another use will come? And it should not be taken as personal criticism. I think it is time saving instantly provide images with better quality, as they later need to replace if it is necessary.
"Still, anything is better than nothing" sums it up pretty nicely. It's a community effort and if you have a better image that's great. I'd say the time could be better invested taking some more screenshots, since the only use for now is inside the launcher and the size used there is way smaller than the one I uploaded Food for thoughts...
Not direct. But in the docs there is a hint ("Image sizes around 1024×768 are also OK, but if the image size is significantly less than this, try to find a better source. Still, anything is better than nothing, and size is not everything. The overall quality of the source material must be considered."), that the images shouldn't be too small. I have changed some of your cover uploads (edited them or found better one on internet). I think, the goal shouldn't be quantity but quality

this disk seem to be broken or something else got wrong. since you cant double click the disk icon after workbench loaded.

Last time I checked there was no size restriction for cover scans. Refrain from using ! and just upload a better version. Thanks.
Cover is too small!
TODO: Box cover is from the PC version until we find one from the Amiga release.
