the 1.1 TOSEC and 1.1 TOSEC DOCS is detected now. leaves just the plain 1.1 version left.

Some more information, the BTTR ADFs correponds to these TOSEC ones:
Leisure Suit Larry 1 - In the Land of the Lounge Lizards v1.000 (1991-07-04)(Sierra)(Disk 1 of 4)(Startup)[cr SR][SCI remake].adf
Leisure Suit Larry 1 - In the Land of the Lounge Lizards v1.000 (1991-07-04)(Sierra)(Disk 2 of 4)(1)[cr SR][SCI remake].adf
Leisure Suit Larry 1 - In the Land of the Lounge Lizards v1.000 (1991-07-04)(Sierra)(Disk 3 of 4)(2)[cr SR][SCI remake].adf
Leisure Suit Larry 1 - In the Land of the Lounge Lizards v1.000 (1991-07-04)(Sierra)(Disk 4 of 4)(3)[cr SR][SCI remake][docs].adf
So, the [docs] disc explains the additional txt files. There is also an (Disk 1 of 4)(Startup)[cr SR][a][SCI remake] in TOSEC. This has a "third version" of LARRY.DRV while the LL1 executable is the same as (Disk 1 of 4)(Startup)[cr SR][SCI remake]. I guess LARRY.DRV perhaps store some progress/settings info, and might be altered while playing? The LL1 binary difference is weirder...
I have no idea what disks were used to make the "original install", perhaps uncracked disks neither in TOSEC nor on BTTR? IT may make sense since the WHDLoad slave removes the protection...
@thevoice good question you had there... I did a new/separate install and got another result as well. There are several differences:
- The files data/LL1 and data/LARRY.DRV differs
- The files data/lsl1code.txt and data/lsl1doc.txt were missing from the old install. This wasn't the problem of course, the above differing files however...
I suppose your install is detected now with the new variant I added (?)
i got a question here. what sources are used to make the install which is checked by the launcher ?
i redid this install from scratch with the original installer and the images mentioned at whdload.de (the ones from bttr).
and the install wont get detected by the launcher. so i did ask retroplay for his version which is byte identical with the install from scratch.
also this variant wasnt changed since like 2005 or so. so which disks were used to make this one ? xD
the mystery is solved now .

@Retro-Nerd heh, viewport = viewport = * * = 74 36 640 400 - that should be only viewport = * * = 74 36 640 400 (Fixed)
I get an OSD message for the disk and WHDLoad versions: Unexpected Byte (42) while parsing viewport option.

Black bar on top is intentional. Game is sluggish on A1200 too, will test more to optimal settings.
I just uploaded the cover I think it's a great idea to merge them like that Just did the same for http://oagd.net/amiga/twintris
Seems to require viewport option... Tried with viewport = * * = 74 36 640 400 which seem to be fine, but I will test more.
Again doing this same time with TheCyberDruid. Sorry
TODO: The title screen is up and down scrolling big picture. I added them together, and it seems nice, what you guys think?
Sluggish on A600.
