game should be configured, or to add relevant information regarding
the use of these configurations.
all 3 ESI variants and the US IPF variant require the ntsc flag to be set. which also fixes the visible workbench screen frode mentioned a few posts below.

TODO: ADF, v832.01, cr WOW, h BST
this variant seem to be broken or bad cracked. no matter what memory config it simply crash on the red screen before the microprose logo.
this variant doesnt like slowmem. cracktro isnt shown aswell as the microprose logo is broken and the game just crash before the helicopter fly into the screen. so slowmem=0
HOL says the game would exists in english and german. This is wrong. There exists only a german manual. I've tested all ADF, IPF and the WHDLoad version and nothing of them are german.

I don't know, if this is a copy protection. I think, a US soldier could answer this questions without manual
The cr ESI versions seems a bit weird, resets the A500 during boot, and with A600, the Workbench screen isn't removed and is visible behind the game..
IPF versions ask for "vehicle identification" (from manual) before arriving in the game menu...
