| __long_description | Super Famicom Wars, or BS Super Famicom Wars, is the fourth game in Intelligent Systems's Nintendo Wars series of turn-based strategy war games, and the only game in the series to be released on the Super Famicom/SNES.
The game was first made available via the Satellaview broadcast service in March of 1998 before getting added to the Nintendo Power cart-writing service in May of the same year. The game was also eventually made available on the Virtual Console for Wii, Wii U and New Nintendo 3DS, but only in Japan. The game was never released in a retail edition, only digitally.
The game presents a number of scenarios with various colorful sides of army units and tanks. The player must take over facilities to produce revenue and new units and use those resources to overpower their opponent(s). |
