@frode i tried both in mame 0.180 and both hang right after the enix (us) and ubi (euro) logo.
i didn't figure out how to test unpublished variants from within the launcher.
@thevoice The new 2.9.1dev version of FS-UAE Launcher will let you see and start unbublished games and variants. There's a new setting for it
Ah, but mednafen is used for SNES emulation, not MAME
Btw, I'm close to having a solution to running unpublished variants from the launcher.

@thevoice Are you sure about the game notice? I got into a level just fine. Tested with both variants...
