"WHDLoad, v1.2, 1600" is marked as a deprecated variant, but "WHDLoad, v1.3, NTSC" does not replace it. The variant "WHDLoad, v1.3, 1600" is missing. The game has an NTSC version and a normal PAL version (IPF 1600).
I suggest unchecking "WHDLoad, v1.2, 1600" until the new variant is made by Frode.

Have you tried the IPF with this cheat code? btw: The WHDLoad version has a cheat too. Set Custom1=1 in the WHDLoad arguments section for unlimited lives.

requiresa kick 1.2 machine. with kick 1.3 the game just hangs on the sega loading screen.
Actually the WHDLoad Custom1=1 cheat doesn't work. But there is also a bug report. Maybe Psygore fix it anytime soo.
