I have just added the following games to the database: Moonmist, Trinity, Border Zone, Bureaucracy, The Lurking Horror, Nord and Bert Couldn’t, Make Head or Tail of It, Plundered Hearts, Arthur: The Quest for Excalibur, Journey, Lancelot, Gnome Ranger, Scapeghost, Legend of the Sword, Tass Times in, Tonetown, Borrowed Time, Time and Magik: The Trilogy, Ingrid’s Back, Sherlock Holmes: The Riddle of the Crown Jewels, James Clavell’s Shogun, Jewels of Darkness.

The following games have also been recently added: Obsession, Alien Bash II, Tilt, Tilt [Genias], Forest Dumb Forever!!!, Spikey In Transylvania, La Storia Infinita II, The Neverending Story II, Die Unendliche Geschichte II, La Historia Interminable II, Behind The Iron Gate, Warlords.

New FS-UAE Launcher release

New FS-UAE Launcher release

The latest release of FS-UAE Launcher contains a few updates which are relevant for the game database. When you now select a game in FS-UAE Launcher, a game variant will be auto-pre-selected according to the following rules:

  • If you have personally rated a variant with score 5, this variant will be selected.
  • If not, the variant with the highest score will be selected.

While being a nice feature in itself, this should also give you some extra motivation to rate variants, as the variant you rate 5 will be your “preferred variant”, or favorite if you will 🙂

Game variants can now specify that an empty HD or a HD with Workbench must be added to the system. This is done by setting a new database key “requirements” to one of

New games added: Xybots, Yogi Bear & Friends in the Greed Monster, Yogi’s Big Clean Up, Yogi’s Great Escape, Yolanda, Yuppi’s Revenge, Z-Out, Za Zelazna Brama, Zack!, Zany Golf. This more or less completes letters Y and Z.

Right now, these games are without cover, but it usually does not take long before the fantastic and hard-working members start adding images and information 🙂

Improved Game Browser

You now browse games by platform and letter, so the size of the game lists are more manageable. Also, game names are now shown below the covers, and a game “quality score” is displayed on the box (if the game lacks information in the database).
