Daikaijuu Deburas (大怪獣 デブラス) is a giant monster attack tactics game. Command the self defense force to protect the town.

This game is distinctly divided into a number of maps, on which you'll have a goal to reach, shaped like the flag to the right, with your egg carrier (C-EGG) unit. You and Deburasu - the enemy dinosaur-thing wanting his egg - will switch turns. When you start, you'll have to effectively roll the dice - press the A Button to stop the rolling. The roll's value determines how many spaces the C-EGG unit will move. When you reach the game field, your units are the blue ones, with the most important being the egg carrier (C-EGG). If Deburasu gets that, your game is pretty much over.

Of course, the objective for each mission can be different - the above pretty much only applies for the first few levels. Later on, you may not have a C-EGG and instead have to protect an area, defeat all of the enemies, or whatever. It's not exactly like each mission is unique, anyhow - if you need specifics, check a mission walkthrough.

To attack an enemy, you must get in range of it; this pretty much means get on a tile next to it. To move, you press the A Button on a unit and use the first option (the second gives random info). You can move the unit, then press the A Button again to put it there. You then get to choose whether to keep it there and do nothing else with it, to cancel that movement, or, if next to an enemy, attack it. Attacking enemies is pretty simple - once done, you do nothing else but watch. Enemies can counterattack, however, so beware of that.

The only real way to heal from damage is to go into a hangar, as pictured to the left - just let the unit end its turn there. Units are able to also be taken from there, as some are sometimes already there. If placed in a hangar, the unit can be used again on the next turn.
