The reason it is called Hugo [4 Levels] is that it is quite a mess. The game is released in different level combinations and under different names in different countries.

Ideally, Hugo would be split into several entries depending on game name in the regions where it is sold, but it also looks like it is difficult to get hold of covers for the different versions.

So right now the current "Hugo structure" is a simplified one, and this game name (Hugo [4 Levels]) is an accurate description, though not the correct title in many countries...

This is "Hugo På Nye Eventyr" (combined package) or better known as Hugo 2 which is the sequel to the game called "Hugo" or "Skærmtrolden Hugo"

A change of this title would be adviseable

A bit of useful info from Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugo_%28video_game%29): The first Hugo computer game was Skærmtrolden Hugo, released in 1991, first for the Commodore 64 and then for the Amiga. The game featured only one scenario, the "Labyrinth" (also known as "Goldmine").[1] It was created by SilverRock Productions (later ITE Media) as their first game since Super OsWALD in 1989. The first "proper" games were the 1992 Amiga games Hugo - På Nye Eventyr (the "Train and Mountain" levels)[2] and its sequel Hugo - På Nye Eventyr Del 2 (the "Forest and Plane" levels).[3] These two were later rereleased as a 1994 compilation titled simply Hugo and then ported to the PC in 1995-1996.

This game entry is basically the 4-level compilation of "Hugo - På Nye Eventyr" and "Hugo - På Nye Eventyr Del 2" then...

TODO: Yes there is an IPF version, I only checked the ADF DAT. Can anyone with the Finish manual see what levels there are in that game (train? forest? mountation? etc).

TODO: I wonder if the "ADF, ES, cr" 5 disk version is really a version of http://hol.abime.net/755 (containing only the Train and Mountain levels). While the title screen looks like the "full version", the menu screen looks like the 2-level "Hugo: På Nye Eventyr"). This also matches the disk count. (EDIT: and the year matches too..) Anyone mentally strong enough to play and find out? big grin

There is a Finnish version as IPF. But a different game, titled as Hugo 2.

Hugo 2 (1994)(ITE)(Fi)[2597]
